Georgia Youth Justice Coalition

The Georgia Youth Justice Coalition first formed in January 2021 as a grassroots collective of Black, brown, LGBTQ+, working class, and allied students advocating for youth power and justice in our state. Their early work emerged from a mass movement led by students for fair maps and fair budgets for Georgia’s children and families.

In 2022 Jayme worked contractually as GYJC’s Lead arts and Design Coordinator to create various lines of designs for merchandise with the goal of helping spread the word about what the organization does

CLAYCO CAN

During his time with GYJC, Jayme created this design with the intention of uplifting his hometown which has been historically disenfranchised and spoken down on often on account of the fact that Clayton County (the southside of Atlanta, GA) is known for being made up of Black, Immigrant, and Blue Collar communities.

In 2020 It would become globally known as the county that turned Georgia Blue for the election year.
